Job Opportunity - Senior Project Contracts Manager

Orano Federal Services,  a subsidiary of Orano USA, is seeking a Senior Project Contracts Manager for our Richland, WA office.
Under broad supervision, provides project expertise and guidance in the interpretation, negotiation and management of complex high-risk and/or multi-year contracts for projects requiring Executive Proposal Review Committee approval and Integrated Contracts, first of a kind design and build projects, and Alliance agreements/contracts. Manages relationships with customers and consortium partners, negotiates scope of supply, terms and conditions, planning, scheduling and oversight of contract/subcontract administration activities.
Additional responsibilities and duties include:
  • Works closely with product line managers, business development and contract proposal personnel to provide expert support regarding proposal and contract strategies, risk ratings, cost basis determination and responses.
  • Leads in the review of contract terms and conditions.
  • Advises management regarding contract clarity, legal issues and risks, compliance requirements, and budgetary
    issues and estimates to ensure informed decisions by corporate stakeholders.
  • Oversees contract performance and serves as primary advisor to Project Manager regarding contract conflicts.
  • Recommends work activities and modifications required to ensure contract compliance and adherence to project policies and procedures.
  • Ensures revenue growth and profit enhancement by mitigating risks from contractual terms and conditions
  • Provide contract advice and recommendations to management/technical personnel regarding contract administration, risk avoidance, change order management and cost or pricing data.
  • Maintains accurate records and may be required to participate in internal and external audits.
  • Assist in the development of contract language and cost/pricing data for government proposals, contracts, change orders and REA's. 
  • Support the Project Lead negotiator and other project team members in client negotiations.
  • Works with OFS stakeholders to develop business and provide individualized care and attention to customers while implementing business development initiatives and supporting major proposals. 
  • Develops and follows established contracts and purchasing procedures in generating company RFIs / RFQs / RFPs / Subcontracts / POs to manage the assigned projects from cradle to grave.
