NCMA Columbia Basin's Spring Seminar event is here! This hot topic, Inside the Mind of a Leader: Tips to Optimize Individual and Team Performance, will be presented by Peter Stewart from Stewart Leadership. Stewart Leadership is your human capital development partner, creating tailored, high-quality solutions to achieve your organization’s results. Their goal is to listen and deliver impactful and engaging experiences that move you, your team, and your enterprise forward. All training will conclude by 1PM.

During this active and lively training, internationally renowned business psychologist, Peter K Stewart, PhD will peel back the secrets of effective leadership. You will learn how to leverage your brain's natural tendencies to be more effective, recognize and manage emotions in yourself and others, identify the needs of the critical relationships to your role, and utilize the steps of sustained change.  Each topic area will be coached in practical language to facilitate immediate application to your role.  This training will kick start your leadership journey to help you achieve both business and people results.

REMINDER: Chapter Community Outreach
For the second half of the program year, our chapter's community outreach will be support My Friends Place, a safe overnight sanctuary for homeless teens located in Kennewick, WA.  My Friends Place is currently providing immediate basic human survival needs for youth, 13 through 17, on the streets.  This includes providing warm meals, showers, laundry, and a safe place to rest.  Please consider donating some of the following items
  - monthly youth bus passes
  - bottled water/sports drinks
  - food (boxed/canned foods, dairy, fruits, granola bars, crackers, cereal, etc.)
  - otter pops/popsicles
  - L/XL/XXL men's underwear/socks
  - ladies underwear and socks
  - summer clothing (all sizes)
  - twin sized sheets, pillowcases, and mattress protectors
  - toilet paper/paper towels
  - hand sanitizer
  - kleenex
  - cleaning supplies/bleach
  - trash bags
  - air fresheners
