Brad Edwards' Bio
Brad A. Edwards currently supports the Department of Energy as a Project Manager working with Mission Support Alliance’s Portfolio Analysis Organization.  Brad has spent 37 years in the Government Contracts/Supply Chain sector, working for Lockheed Martin before coming to Hanford in 2011.  Starting his career in Sunnyvale, CA he has progressed from an individual contributor to managing diverse organizations that exceeded 100 employees located across the United States and around the globe.

In 1983, Brad started with Lockheed’s Missiles and Space Division in Sunnyvale, CA as a Subcontract Administrator working on the Mark 5 Re-entry Vehicle program for the D5 Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile program for the Department of Defense (Navy-SPO).  This program formed his understanding of the needs to ensure compliance and efficiency in the contracts role while focusing on solutions-based acquisitions.  From that point he worked programs for NASA, DOE, DOD and other Governmental agencies in both Prime Contract and Supply Chain roles.  One other critical component of his career was managing Lockheed Martin’s Strategic Sourcing organization for Information Technologies.

In addition to his professional career, Brad has served as an adjunct Instructor at the University of North Alabama and Columbia Basin College, served as a National Director for the National Management Association and supported Leadership Development and Mentoring programs at Lockheed Martin and Mission Support Alliance.

Brad received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from California State University – Chico and went on to receive a Master’s of Science (MS) in Contract and Procurement Management from St. Mary’s College - Moraga.  Brad is married with two grown children, has lived, worked or visited all 50 states and currently resides in West Richland.
